Women in the War Effort
Towards the end of the war, Europen Allies began to be short on troops. Unfortunately, Germany was well on its way towards France for an attack. As a result, America needed to salvage a large army to assist the war effort. Therefore, women were admitted into the army for the first time. Of course, there might have been controversy regarding this decision. So, in order to persuade the men to let women join the army, I found the completely sensible thing to do is to give Wonder Woman, America's iconically invincible superwoman, a rifle. I feel that this picture is an effective attention-grabber, and the competent feeling that Wonder Woman gives off would have given men the idea that all American Women were strong and ready to fight.
